By roadside
He anticipates
Arrival of the
One who heals.
Offers Good News of Heaven.
Much too long
Been the target of
Woesome heart steals
Dread Satan’s target
And minions’ squeals.
But Jesus, unshaken
Optic nerves waken
“Lord have mercy”
And all grief abates.
He, dancing delightfully
Rotates.
